Conjunto de puntal de suspensión con control electrónico original BYD OEM

Genuine BYD OEM electronically controlled suspension strut assembly for selected BYD models equipped with electronic damping suspension.

Designed as a direct replacement for the original factory strut, this complete assembly helps restore the vehicle’s original ride comfort, damping response and suspension control.

Because BYD suspension specifications may differ by model, model year, market version and vehicle configuration, compatibility should be confirmed before ordering.

Send us your VIN, vehicle model, year and a photo or part number of the original strut. Yirox sales and technical teams can help identify the correct replacement part and check current availability.

Descripción General del Producto

Conjunto de puntal de suspensión con control electrónico original BYD OEM

Esta Genuine BYD electronic controlled suspension strut assembly is designed as a replacement for the factory-installed suspension unit used on selected BYD vehicles equipped with electronically controlled damping.

Unlike a conventional passive shock absorber, an electronic suspension strut forms part of the vehicle’s suspension control system. Depending on the BYD model and configuration, the vehicle can electronically adjust damping behaviour to balance ride comfort, body control and handling under different driving conditions.

BYD uses electronically controlled suspension technology on selected vehicles, including models equipped with its DiSus-C Intelligent Damping Body Control System. Exact suspension specifications, however, vary between vehicles and markets.

This is why the replacement strut should be matched to the exact vehicle configuration, rather than selected only by model name.

What Does an Electronic Suspension Strut Do?

The suspension strut performs two important jobs.

First, together with the spring, it supports and controls movement of the vehicle body and wheel.

Second, the shock absorber inside the strut controls spring movement after the vehicle passes over bumps, potholes or uneven road surfaces.

On vehicles with electronic damping, the damping system can also interact with the vehicle’s electronic suspension controls. This allows the suspension to change its response according to vehicle conditions and, on applicable models, selected driving modes.

A properly functioning strut helps maintain:

  • Stable tyre contact with the road
  • Controlled body movement
  • Comfortable ride quality
  • Reduced bouncing after bumps
  • Better stability during braking and acceleration
  • Controlled body roll during cornering
  • Correct operation of the vehicle’s electronic damping system

When Should the Suspension Strut Be Replaced?

Shock absorbers and struts normally deteriorate gradually rather than failing suddenly. There is therefore no single mileage at which every strut must be replaced.

Inspection is recommended when the vehicle develops noticeable changes in ride quality, handling or suspension behaviour. Common signs of worn or damaged shocks and struts include excessive bouncing, body roll, nose dive during braking, unusual suspension noises, fluid leakage and uneven tyre wear.

You may need to inspect or replace the electronic strut if you experience:

Excessive bouncing after bumps

The vehicle continues moving up and down instead of settling quickly after passing over a bump.

Ride becomes unusually hard or uncomfortable

A damaged damper or electronic damping problem can prevent the suspension from controlling road impacts correctly.

Vehicle feels unstable or floats at higher speeds

Reduced damping performance can make the vehicle feel less controlled, especially on uneven roads.

Excessive body roll when cornering

The vehicle may lean more than usual during turns.

Front-end dive during braking

The front of the vehicle drops excessively during braking because the suspension is no longer controlling weight transfer effectively.

Unusual knocking or clunking noises

Noise from the suspension area can indicate wear or damage to the strut, mounting components or associated suspension parts.

Shock absorber oil leakage

Visible hydraulic fluid around the strut body can indicate an internal seal failure.

Uneven or accelerated tyre wear

Poor damping can allow the wheel to bounce and lose consistent road contact, contributing to abnormal tyre wear.

Electronic suspension warning or fault code

On electronically controlled suspension systems, the vehicle may detect an electrical or damping-control problem and store a diagnostic trouble code.

Suspension no longer responds normally to different driving modes

Where the vehicle is equipped with adjustable damping modes, a noticeable loss of difference between settings may indicate that the electronic damping system requires inspection.

Strut damaged after a collision or severe pothole impact

A bent strut body, damaged mounting bracket or other physical damage can affect suspension geometry and vehicle handling.

Why Choose a Genuine BYD Electronic Strut?

For a conventional shock absorber, matching physical dimensions is already important.

For an electronically controlled strut, correct matching becomes even more important because the component may also need to work with the vehicle’s suspension electronics.

A genuine BYD replacement helps maintain the specifications originally designed for the vehicle, including:

Correct mounting geometry

Mounting points, brackets and overall dimensions correspond to the intended BYD vehicle configuration.

Correct damping characteristics

The damping characteristics are designed for the vehicle’s original suspension setup, vehicle weight and chassis tuning.

Correct electronic interface

Electronic suspension components need the correct connectors and electrical specifications to communicate with the vehicle’s suspension system.

Compatibility with the original suspension system

Using the correct electronically controlled replacement helps retain the functionality of the factory suspension rather than converting the vehicle to a conventional passive shock absorber.

Correct spring and strut configuration

Suspension specifications can differ between front and rear axles, left and right positions, vehicle trims and different regional versions.

Adaptive suspension manufacturers specifically note that replacement electronic dampers must integrate correctly with the vehicle ECU and original suspension system.

For this reason, we do not recommend choosing an electronic suspension strut only by appearance.

How Do I Know Which Strut Fits My BYD?

Please contact Yirox before ordering.

The same BYD model can have different suspension configurations depending on:

  • Año del modelo
  • EV or DM-i / DM-p version
  • Trim level
  • Chinese domestic or export specification
  • Left-hand-drive or right-hand-drive version
  • Suspension package
  • Production batch
  • Electronic damping equipment
  • Front or rear axle
  • Left or right side

The fastest way for us to confirm compatibility is to provide:

1. VIN / Chassis Number
This is the most important information for checking the vehicle configuration.

2. BYD Model

For example:

BYD Seal
BYD Han
BYD Tang
BYD Song Plus
BYD Sealion series
or other BYD models.

3. Model Year

4. Front / Rear and Left / Right Position

5. Original Part Number

If available, send us a clear photo of the BYD part label or OEM part number on the original strut.

6. Photos of the Existing Suspension

Photos of the strut, electrical connector and mounting points can help our technical team confirm the correct version.

Not Sure Which Version You Need?

That is common with BYD replacement parts.

You do not need to identify the part yourself.

Send your vehicle information to the Yirox sales or technical team, and we can help cross-check the VIN, original part number and suspension configuration before quoting.

This is particularly important for electronic suspension components because two struts that look similar externally may use different internal specifications or electronic interfaces.

Availability

Yirox supplies genuine BYD replacement suspension components for selected BYD vehicles.

However, because BYD has a large number of vehicle configurations and OEM part numbers, not every electronic strut version is continuously stocked.

Availability may include:

In-stock parts – available for normal order processing.

China warehouse / dealer stock – usually sourced according to the specific OEM part number.

Special-order parts – sourced after confirming the VIN and vehicle configuration.

For the latest price, stock status and estimated dispatch time, please contact our sales team with your VIN.

Professional Installation Recommended

Suspension struts are safety-critical chassis components.

Installation should be carried out by a qualified automotive technician using appropriate equipment. The technician should also inspect related suspension parts such as the upper mount, bushings, fasteners and other suspension components during replacement. Monroe likewise recommends inspecting related mounting components when servicing struts.

Depending on the vehicle and suspension system, diagnostic inspection, fault-code clearing or additional suspension procedures may also be required after installation.
