1 oz x 6 steel weights for large SUV and truck wheels
This lead-free steel (Fe) stick-on strip is for the inner barrel of alloy rims on SUVs, pickups, light trucks and off-road or large-diameter wheels that often need several ounces of correction. It carries six 1 oz segments, 6 oz per strip, so a 3 oz correction is just three pieces instead of a long row of small segments that looks untidy and gives the adhesive more edges to lift from.
Each segment is marked in both units (1oz and 28 Fe), so the same box works whether a workshop’s balancer reads in ounces or grams, which helps distributors serving mixed markets. The zinc plated body comes in a metallic finish or with a black coating, both with rounded corners.

For work vehicles with plain wheels, zinc is usually all you need. If you also serve owners of black or dark SUV wheels, the black version hands back a cleaner-looking job. Which tape should go on a heavy segment?
A 1 oz segment is heavier than most passenger car weights, so the tape is doing more work:

Is 1 oz the right step size for you?
Use 1 oz for large wheels, the 1/2 oz x 6 for everyday car and SUV work, and the 1/4 oz x 12 for fine balancing; mixed shops often use 1 oz for the bulk of a correction and 1/4 oz for the final touch. In gram-based markets, the thick 15g-30g strips or the 10g x 10 strip do a similar job.

Packing and delivery
Strips are packed 24 per bag and 2 bags per box, giving 48 strips per box, then into export cartons for sea or air freight. Zinc and black can be combined in one order, packed by box. Tell us your destination port and we will advise on cartons and shipping.

How much does each segment weigh?
Each segment is 1 oz, about 28g, and is marked 1oz and 28 Fe so technicians can read it in either unit.
Do these weights contain lead?
No. They are zinc plated steel (Fe), with an optional black coating.
How do I keep heavy segments in place?
A dirty or cold rim shows up as a lost weight later, so clean and dry the spot, fit at room temperature and press firmly along the whole strip.
