Buying Guide

How to Choose Truck Bed Accessories

A pickup bed is a big, slick box: loads slide in every corner and the floor scratches and dents. The right accessories depend on whether a customer mainly needs to protect the bed, organize cargo, or both.

1. Protect the Bed Floor

Truck bed mat: a rubber or polymer mat that cushions the floor and stops cargo sliding. It is removable and the lowest-cost protection.

Drop-in bed liner: a molded plastic shell covering the floor and sides. Tough, but cargo can still slide on it.

Spray-in bed liner: a permanent coating applied by a shop, with the best grip and fit but no option to remove it.

2. Organize and Secure Cargo

Modular truck bed organizer: interlocking floor panels with movable cargo blocks, so loads of any size can be boxed in where they sit.

Cargo dividers and bars: split the bed into zones but only work in one direction.

Tie-downs, nets and straps: hold loads down; combine them with an organizer for small items that roll around.

Drawer systems: secure and lockable, but heavy, costly and they take up bed height.

3. Check Size and Compatibility

Bed lengths vary by truck and cab type, from short beds near 5 ft to long beds near 8 ft. Measure from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate and between the wheel wells.

Check how an accessory works with a tonneau cover, bed liner or bed rail system already on the truck.

Look for UV-stable materials that will not curl or crack in the sun, with drainage so water does not pool under the mat.

Setup

How to Set Up a Modular Truck Bed Organizer

A general overview. Follow the instructions supplied with each product.

  1. Empty and clean the bed. Remove debris and wash the floor so panels sit flat.
  2. Lay the base panels. Start at the bulkhead and lock the panels together toward the tailgate, trimming or choosing edge pieces around the wheel wells as instructed.
  3. Place cargo blocks around the load. Set blocks tight against each item; they hold position against cornering and braking.
  4. Add straps for tall or heavy items. Use the bed’s tie-down points for anything that could tip over.
  5. Check after the first drive. Confirm nothing has shifted and that the tailgate and any tonneau cover still close freely.

FAQ

Truck Bed Accessories FAQ

What is the best way to keep cargo from sliding in a truck bed?

A grippy bed mat helps, but a modular organizer with movable blocks holds items in place in every direction. Add straps for tall or heavy loads.

Bed mat or bed liner: which is better?

A mat is cheaper, removable and grips cargo. A liner covers the sides as well. Many owners use both: a liner for the walls and a mat for the floor.

How do I measure my truck bed?

Measure from the inside of the bulkhead to the closed tailgate, and the width between the wheel wells. Bed length varies by cab type and bed option on the same truck.

Will a bed organizer work with a tonneau cover?

Low-profile floor organizers sit under most tonneau covers. Check the height of cargo blocks and anything stacked on them before closing the cover.

Is there a cheaper alternative to drawer systems?

Yes. Floor-level modular organizers give secure cargo positioning at a fraction of the cost and weight, without losing bed height.

Do bed mats trap water and cause rust?

A mat with drainage channels and a ribbed underside lets water escape. Lift and dry the bed occasionally, especially in winter.

Can you develop custom bed accessories?

Yes. We support OEM and ODM projects for mats, panels and organizer parts.

What is the MOQ?

Low MOQ on selected items. Tell us the bed sizes and quantities you need.

What should I send with my inquiry?

Truck model and year, cab type and bed length, plus any liner or cover already installed.

How are bed accessories packed?

Flat-packed in cartons sized for export to 40+ countries.
