Injection molding

The core of our factory. 42 machines from 90 to 2,500 t mold everything from clips and brackets to bumper trim and large rear spoilers. Three two-shot machines combine hard and soft materials, and every machine has a take-out robot. Read more about automotive plastic injection molding.

Painting and surface finishing

Two paint lines apply a 3C2B system in clean-room booths, with UV clearcoat as an option. We paint gloss black, body color and matte finishes, and we measure color, gloss, film thickness and adhesion. Unpainted parts get molded-in textures. See painting and surface finishing.

Chrome plating

Our automatic gantry rack line has 28 tanks and plates copper, nickel and chrome onto plating-grade ABS. Trivalent chrome is standard and parts are tested to CASS 48 h. See chrome plating on plastic.

Quality inspection and CMM

Two CMMs, checking fixtures, a spectrophotometer, gloss meter and coating thickness gauge support FAI and PPAP up to Level 3. Weathering and corrosion tests are done at SGS and CTI. See quality inspection and CMM.

3D scanning and reverse engineering

A handheld blue laser and infrared scanner captures parts and vehicles at 0.04 mm accuracy. We deliver mesh, reverse-engineered CAD and deviation color maps. See 3D scanning and reverse engineering.

Mold tooling

Our mold shop builds 6–8 molds a month in P20 and H13 steel and maintains every mold we run. See tooling and sampling.

How a Part Moves Through Our Factory

In short: a part moves from DFM review and mold making to molding, finishing, inspection and packing inside one factory, so one supplier is accountable for every step.

Because every main step is in one factory, problems found in painting or inspection go straight back to the molding and mold teams. You deal with one supplier and one set of documents.

CNC Machining and Mold Making

CNC machining at Yirox supports tooling, fixtures and prototypes rather than selling machining time as a job shop. Our machines build and repair molds, make checking fixtures and machine prototype or low-volume parts for exterior programs.

Why One Factory Matters for Exterior Parts

Exterior parts are judged on fit and finish, and both depend on many steps working together. A sink mark from molding shows through gloss paint. Molding stress affects chrome adhesion. A warped side skirt fails on the checking fixture. When molding, finishing and inspection sit with different companies, each problem becomes a discussion about who caused it.

At Yirox the mold shop, molding machines, paint lines, plating line and inspection room are in the same factory and report to the same management. Problems are traced to the root cause quickly, and changes are made where they are needed: in the mold, the process or the finish. For you that means fewer rejected batches, one quality contact and one set of documents for each part.

What Buyers Say About Our Manufacturing

Feedback from buyers who started with one part and moved to repeat orders: what they checked, and what changed once production ran.

“What I value most is being able to get a straight answer. If a drawing needs changing, they explain why. If a product needs another check, they say so. We work with plenty of suppliers, and that kind of communication makes Yirox much easier to deal with.”
Senior Procurement ManagerAutomotive Aftermarket Supply
“Most suppliers were happy to quote our drawings as they were. Yirox pointed out two areas that might cause trouble during molding. It wasn’t the answer we expected, but it was exactly the kind of feedback we needed.”
Product Development ManagerOEM Plastic Components
“The first order tells you whether a supplier can make the product. The second and third tell you whether they can maintain the same standard. For our team, consistent finish and packing across repeat orders are what make a supplier worth keeping.”
