Lead adhesive strips in ounce sizes
These lead (Pb) stick-on strips are for alloy rims in ounce-based markets where lead weights are permitted. They are graduated in 1/4, 1/2 and 1 oz steps, so technicians go straight from the balancer reading to the right number of segments, and dense lead keeps the strips short. Segments carry both units, for example 1/4oz 7gm and 1/2oz 14gm, which helps distributors serving metric and imperial customers from the same stock.
The strips come with blue, 3M or Norton tape, and the 1/2 oz (14g) segments are also offered on blue paper tape. In the supplier photos, the 1 oz x 6 strip is marked CL 6 / 1 OZ on the segments.
Material notice: this product is made of lead (Pb). Rules on lead wheel weights differ by country and region, and some markets restrict or ban them. Please check your local regulations before ordering, and choose our steel or zinc alternatives where lead is not permitted.
Which ounce pattern do you need?
Choose 1/4 oz for fine balancing on smaller passenger car wheels, 1/2 oz for everyday work, and 1 oz for large wheels needing heavier corrections. Many distributors carry two or three sizes so customers can match the strip to the job.
| Code | Pattern | Strip weight |
|---|---|---|
| PB-012 | 1/4 oz x 12 | 3 oz |
| PB-013 / PB-014 | 1/2 oz x 12 | 6 oz |
| PB-015 | 1/2 oz x 6 | 3 oz |
| PB-016 | 1 oz x 6 | 6 oz |
PB-013 and PB-014 share the same 1/2 oz x 12 pattern in the catalogue, so either code orders the same 1/2 oz x 12 strip. You may also want to look at our lead strips 4oz.
Tape choices
All four patterns take blue, 3M or Norton tape; the 1/2 oz (14g) patterns can also have blue paper tape:
| Tape | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Blue tape | Standard workshop adhesive |
| 3M tape | Branded 3M adhesive for customers who specify a named tape |
| Norton tape | Branded Norton adhesive as an alternative named tape |
| Blue paper tape | Paper-backed liner for 1/2 oz (14g) segments |
Tell our sales team your climate and rim types and we will recommend the best option.

The 1/4 oz x 12 strip is packed 60 pcs per box. The other patterns ship in standard boxes, and buyers can request custom box quantities. Boxes are then packed into export cartons for shipping.
Private label lead ranges
The factory supports minor, drawing-based and sample-based customization, including logo printing on boxes, private label packing and custom tape types. Send your artwork and we will agree the details and lead time with you.
