4. Connect the Internal Clips

Work from the centre outwards. It keeps the two sides even and makes small alignment corrections much easier.
5. Secure the Supplied Screws
Now secure the supplied screws at the specified mounting points. Tighten them gradually and evenly. If you lock down one side first, the lip can twist slightly and leave an uneven gap on the other side.
There is a clear line between a simple DIY fit and a workshop job. If the kit needs bumper removal, cutting, wiring, paintwork, or sensor recalibration, bring in a qualified installer.
6. Remove Tape Backing, Press, and Inspect
Once the clips and screws have positioned the lip correctly, pull the tape backing away slowly from the centre toward each side. Keep an eye on the gap as you go.
Then press along every taped edge with steady, even pressure. Let the tape cure for the stated time before driving. One last look from the front and both corners is all it takes to catch a small issue before it becomes a loose edge on the road.
