Not every car has a model-specific flap, and some workshops just want one part that fits most vehicles. These universal PP splash guards come in a sedan size and an SUV size.
When should I choose universal over model-fit?
Universal flaps make sense for older or rarer cars, mixed fleets and workshops that want one SKU for many cars. If a model-fit set exists, it will look neater; see our mud flaps and splash guards range first.
Which sizes are available?
| Make | Model / years | Part | Material |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sedan | Universal set, 4 pcs | PP | |
| SUV | Universal set, 4 pcs | PP |
How do I pick sedan or SUV?
Measure the gap from the bottom of the arch lip to the sill. If it is short, use the sedan flap. Taller SUVs and pickups need the SUV flap, which is about 255 mm wide and 320 mm tall. For tyre and wheel accessories, see wheels and tire accessories.
What are they made from?
The same injection-moulded PP as our model-fit sets, with a curved profile that suits most arches.
How are they installed?
Hold the flap against the arch, mark and drill the holes, then fix it with the screws supplied. It takes about 40 minutes per car.
How are they packed?
Sets of four in cartons, bulk-packed for workshops, with private labelling and low MOQ on selected items.

What are the limits of a universal flap?
A universal flap cannot follow every arch exactly, so it may leave a small gap at the top on some cars, and it needs new holes in the liner or bumper. On a new car with a model-fit set in our catalogue, the model-fit part is the better choice. For older vehicles, imported cars, trailers and work fleets made up of many different models, though, a universal set saves stocking dozens of separate parts.
Which vehicles suit each size?
The sedan size suits compact cars, saloons and small hatchbacks. The SUV size suits crossovers, mid-size SUVs, MPVs and light pickups. For very large pickups or vans, a model-fit set from our Toyota SUV and pickup or Ford series gives better coverage.
How do workshops use universal flaps?
Many tyre shops keep a few universal sets on the shelf so they can fit flaps the same day a customer asks, without ordering a model-specific part. The flaps can be trimmed with a sharp knife for a neater fit, and the PP edge stays clean after cutting.
Can universal flaps be branded?
Yes. Because one part serves many cars, universal flaps are a good choice for private-label programmes. We can mould your logo or print it on the box, and we offer low MOQ on selected items.
